Leader's Club- 1st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING!!

Dear members

Hey guys, apart from our esteemed club president, Steven I'd also like to say thanks to all of you for attending the meeting. It was great that we all got to know each other. We got off to quite a reasonably good start but we're not stopping there. We're continuing to INFINITY and BEYOND.

As we all say, live and dream, we are and always will be MOVING FORWARD.

Here are the details of the our 1st official Leader's Club meeting:-

Activities:

1. Opening speech by the president to thank and welcome new members
2. Members introduced themselves and got to know each other
3. Election of the main committee members

Whatever you do like Steven says, just because you're not a committee member DOES NOT mean it is the end of the world. You're all just as good and capable as we are in every aspect and we encourage as many of you as possible to join. Don't worry, we won't eat you alive...we're approachable, friendly and very forthcoming.

Here are the elected committee members:

President: Low Yik Pui, Steven (PL5)

Vice President: Loganathan Subramaniam (PM16)

Secretary: Lee Pui Yi, Kristine (PL5)

Deputy Secretary: Yeong Vee Keat (PE7)

Treasurer: Jolynn Kek Yen Ai (PL5)

Deputy Treasurer: Jeff Wong (PB4)

IT Leader : Elvin Thomas Philips (PM16)

Marketing Leader: Lee Wei Sam (PL5)

Assistant Marketing Leader: Leena Raguchandran (PL5)

4. The following were some of the great activities suggested by our club members

i. Raise funds (e.g. Selling self-designed T-shirts)

ii. Outdoor/ Indoor competitions (e.g. Futsal, Ping-pong, Tennis, Basketball, Chess, Scrabble)

iii. CS (Counter-Strike)/ DOTA (Defence Of The Ancients) friendly competition among classes

iv. Organize celebrations, events...etc for World day(s) and other various festivals

v. Camps/ trips

These are only a few of the ideas we came up with but whatever any brilliant ideas you might be thinking of please let us know. We're always open to new ones.

After discussing and brainstorming and just having plain good old fun making friends the meeting was sadly adjourned at 3.20p.m. .

I simply just have to say that joining this club was great and Im sure looking forward to our plans for the upcoming future.
